The house had a plaster cladding exterior which had leaked resulting in water damage to the framing timber. Both the cladding and the damaged framing needed replacing. The client decided, at the same time, to renovate and extend the house, including the addition of two second storey decks to create outdoor entertainment areas.
What we did
The project involved
- Removal and disposal of plaster cladding from the house exterior, replacement of all water damaged framing timber, and recladding with timber weatherboards with a cavity system to create a healthy and safe home.
- All insulation throughout the home was upgraded.
- All joinery was replaced with new doubled-glazed joinery adding to the warmth and the look of the home.
- Extension of the master bedroom and living area, creating a more functional house layout that better suited our client’s lifestyle.
- A full kitchen renovation, modernising the kitchen area.
- Two new second-level outdoor decks to create outdoor living spaces perfect for relaxation and entertaining.
- A new roof.
