Do you have the complete team of required trades for my project?

Are you licensed building practitioners (LBP)?
Yes. All restricted (consented) work must be completed or supervised by an LBP Builder. We are licensed building practitioners and, as part of that commitment, we prioritise continual further training and learning for all of team members.
Can we live in our home while the project is undertaken?
This is often possible but depends on the scope of the project – we will work with you to determine if this is possible and safe to do so.
If this is possible, we’ll ensure that critical areas are kept safe and habitable, and we’ll communicate clearly with you about any work that may cause increased noise, dust, or temporary changes to your living space.
We do, however, specialise in large-scale, often complex, building projects. This means that there are many projects where remaining in the home is not be possible both because of safety and because having a vacant house will help the project’s efficiency.
Will my extension project require consent?
All building work done in New Zealand must comply with the Building Code. This means, a building consent is often required.
Home extension or addition projects that require consent include:
- Structural building work.
- Plumbing and drainage where an additional sanitary fixture is created.
- Decks above 1.5mtrs high.
